Part 1, Postmaster-Gen. Hannegan presents a sheet of Roosevelt memorial stamps to Mrs. Roosevelt in Hyde Park as Elliott and Faye Emerson look on. An unfinished portrait,of Roosevelt is unveiled in New York City. Shows the Roosevelt home in Warm Springs, Georgia. Part 2 shows scenes in U.S. freight yards and railway stations and flashbacks of Allied planes bombing Germany railroads. Urges Americans not to travel. Part 3 shows the wreckage caused by a B-25 plane which crashed into the Empire State Building. An eye witness describes the crash.
